A woman, claiming to be a friend of Ekiti Chef Dammy, who is currently attempting to break a world record of 120 hours cooking time, has disclosed that the cook-a-thon was the idea of their pastor.

She urged netizens to direct their anger towards the pastor rather than Dammy.

The live video of the cook-a-thon is being streamed on the Instagram page of their church, Spirit Word Global Mission.

According to her, “Y'all Dammy is my friend Na our pastor Dey push her pls forgive Dammy swear for our pastor”
