3 talented Actors Nollywood has lost within 48hrs
The Nigerian film industry, popularly known as Nollywood, has lost three talented actors recently, leaving fans and colleagues heartbroken.
Saint Obi's Death
First, the news of the passing of Obinna Nwafor, better known as Saint Obi, hit the airwaves. According to reports, he passed away at the age of 57 in the home of one of his siblings in Jos, Plateau State. The actor had been unwell for a while and had to relocate to his sister's home in Jos for better care, but unfortunately, he passed away there.
Alafin Oro's Death
Just a few hours after Saint Obi's death, the industry was hit with another blow. The veteran Yoruba Nollywood actor, Mukail Adedigba, popularly known as Alafin Oro, passed away in the early hours of the day.
Alafin Oro was a great philosopher and an icon with so much Yoruba knowledge. He will surely be missed by his fans and in the industry.
Murphy Afolabi's Death
Shortly after Alafin Oro's death, news broke that actor and producer Murphy Afolabi had also passed away. According to reports, he died after falling down in the bathroom at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Afolabi was a well-known face in the Nigerian film industry, having starred in several movies and TV shows over the years. He was also a producer and director, and had won several awards for his work.
