The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has postponed its ongoing Direct Entry (DE) registration due to the upcoming 2023 national census exercise.
The JAMB Direct Entry registration exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session began on March 20th and will close on May 13th. Candidates interested in the Direct Entry program should complete their registration before the deadline
Candidates are urged to obtain their DE ePINs from designated outlets before April 30th and complete their registration at JAMB offices within the given timeframe.
JAMB has assured candidates that they will not be denied the opportunity to register as long as they follow the directives and comply with the timeframe.
JAMB emphasizes the need to prevent falsification of results and other infractions, and candidates are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations governing the registration process.
It is important to note that JAMB Direct Entry is an alternative route for candidates who have already obtained a diploma, NCE, or its equivalent and wish to gain admission into a Nigerian university for a degree program without taking the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
