She claimed in an interview that when they were young, their mother treated any of them who tried to spend her money or consume her food as enemies because she didn't provide for them; rather, all five of her female children were enrolled as harlots in her beer parlor business.
She continues by saying that her mother will always tell them that she will never take food from a child's hand and that she will never use money to educate a child. She insisted that since their father had lost his job, it was their father's responsibility to take care of them and that she would not be using her own money to do so.
She doesn't have any money, but now that they are of age, they give her money and assist in some other small way. But they all realized that whenever they give her money, they all suffer significant setbacks. When they discussed it after noticing it, they realized it was because of the curse she put on herself when they were children.
