N-Power is a Nigerian government initiative aimed at reducing youth unemployment in the country. The program was launched in 2016 under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and is managed by the National Social Investment Office (NSIO) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
N-Power is designed to provide unemployed Nigerian youths with vocational and entrepreneurship skills that will make them more employable in the job market. The program offers young Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35 the opportunity to acquire skills and experiences that will enable them to become self-reliant.
What are the types of N-Power?

How Much is Npower Salary?
The salary structure of N-Power beneficiaries varies depending on the category of the program they are enrolled in. However, it is important to note that N-Power is not a permanent job, but a temporary program designed to provide employment opportunities and training for Nigerian youths.
In the Graduate category of the program, beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend of N30,000 (approximately $73) for the duration of their participation in the program, which is usually two years. They also receive training and resources to enable them to acquire skills and experience in their chosen field.
In the Non-Graduate category, beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend of N10,000 (approximately $24) for the duration of their participation in the program, which is usually three months. They are trained in various vocational skills such as tailoring, carpentry, and welding.

How do you qualify for N-Power?
- Applicant must be a Nigerian Citizen by birth.
- Secondly, applicant must not be below 18 years of age.
- Previous beneficiary of the N-Power Programme are not allowed to apply the second time.
