Babcock University school website UMIS hacked again, management raises alarm

in Ilisan Remo has recently experienced a security breach where their UMIS (Information Management System) account was hacked on Tuesday.

According to Dr. Joshua Suleiman, the Director of Communication and Marketing of the university, the hackers posted unsolicited and unwarranted digital communication on the university's site.

However, the university's ICT experts were able to retrieve the account and prevent further intrusions. Dr. Suleiman confirmed that the university had secured their network, but he urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the school authority without delay.

Dr. Suleiman emphasized that the university never sent out such information voluntarily, and they regret any wrong impression it may have created. The statement acknowledged the continuous and evolving nature of cyber risks and reiterated the institution's commitment to its godly values.

The statement concluded by reassuring the public that the university had secured its network already, and anyone receiving strange messages should report to the school authority.
