Fox Nigeria's investigation in Imo State reveals that some independent marketers in areas such as Nekede, Naze, Ihiagwa, Futo axis are selling petrol at prices ranging from N300 to N500 per liter.
While a few filling stations remained open for customers, others closed their gates, seemingly hoarding the product with intentions of selling it at inflated prices. This situation not only caused distress for motorists but also put passengers at the mercy of drivers who had no choice but to increase transportation fares.
