Hilda Baci finally offs Gas as she reaches 100 hours non-stop cooking, Osinbajo congratulates her

Viral Nigerian chef has finally completed the 100 hours non-stop cooking to become the latest Guiness World Record of a cook-a-thon.

She smashed the previous world record for a cook-a-thon, who had the longest cooking of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.

Fox Nigeria reports that the previous Cook-a-thon record holder is Chef Lata Tondon in Rewa, India in 2019.

Hilda had originally aimed to complete a 96-hour cook-a-thon and was due to finish at 4 pm Nigerian time on Monday, May 15th. However, after receiving tremendous support from her fellow Nigerians at the event, which took place at the Amore Gardens in Lekki, she was granted a four-hour extension and completed a full 100 hours of cooking before stopping at 8 pm.

Her achievement has been hailed by many as a testament to her dedication and passion for cooking.

Osinbajo Congratulates Hilda Baci

Fox Nigeria reports that Vice President of federal republic of Nigeria, has congratulated Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, following 100 hours of non-stop cooking, which is a new Guinness World Record.

Reacting via his Twitter handle, Osinbajo described her feat as an extraordinary achievement.

He wrote,

” Hilda, 100 hours! Wow 🤩

“Congratulations on breaking the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual”. What an extraordinary achievement! We are all immensely proud of you.”
