Fox Nigeria reports that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) sent an update to NPower beneficiaries regarding the payment of backlog stipends and other important matters related to the program.
NPower important message to beneficiary over stipends payment
The Npower management Nasims has again updated beneficiaries in regard to the payment of backlog stipends. According to Nasims, if you have not been selected as a Beneficiary of the program, you're ineligible for payment. Beneficiaries can boldly see their Npower status via the Nasims self-service portal
Ineligibility for Payment and Checking Status
According to NASIMS, beneficiaries who have not been selected for the program are ineligible for payment of any stipends. Beneficiaries are advised to check their NPower status via the Nasims self-service portal. This portal provides beneficiaries with a clear picture of their status and whether they are eligible for payment.

Resumption of Backlog Payment
NASIMS has also announced the resumption of backlog payment for some of the beneficiaries who had earlier validated their account details. Additionally, beneficiaries who are part of NPower batch C1 and are asking for December stipend payments are advised to keep checking their dashboard frequently for updates. There is a possibility that they may receive payment if their program is extended.
Beware of Fake Advertisements
NASIMS has also issued a warning to potential NPower beneficiaries, stating that the program is not currently recruiting. Any advertisements or claims of NPower 2023 enrollment are false, and prospective applicants are advised to ignore them. Additionally, NASIMS warns against paying any fees for NPower enrollment, as the program is completely free of charge.
