Precious Tunde, a final-year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) in Edo State, has passed away.
According to reports, the victim died in her sleep at her off-campus hostel located in Ekosodin Village, close to the university.
Precious was a final-year student in the Faculty of Education at the Ugbowo campus of the institution before her untimely death.
Her passing has been met with shock and grief from her friends and fellow students at UNIBEN.
Photos of her friends dressed in black and holding a banner that reads “Time to say goodbye but farewell is not forever” have gone viral on social media.
