Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, Founder of Omega Power Ministries, Slumps at Airport
The founder of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, slumped at an airport on Friday, June 30, over an undisclosed illness.
A video of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows the cleric lying on the floor before being rushed to the hospital.
Chinyere took to his Facebook page to confirm the development, urging Nigerians and followers to pray for him.
“Please pray for me this morning,” he wrote.
A terse post on the church's verified Facebook page also revealed that the Rivers state-based cleric was truly unconscious at the airport.

“Please let us all endeavour to put our Father in the Lord in our prayers,” the post read.
This is not the first time Chinyere has been hospitalized. In 2021, he was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during a church service.
Chinyere is a well-known figure in Nigeria, and his ministry has a large following. He is known for his philanthropic work, and he has been involved in a number of high-profile projects, including the provision of housing for the poor and the education of orphans.
His followers are praying for his speedy recovery.
