Reports says CNN told Trump town hall audience they could applaud but they could not boo

Fox Nigeria learnt that during a town hall event with President Trump, CNN allegedly instructed the audience to only applaud and not boo, according to Republican political consultant Matthew Bartlett.

Bartlett stated that the floor manager came out ahead of time and asked the audience to be respectful and avoid booing.

He noted that this set the tone for the event, where attendees were going to try to maintain a civil discourse and only applaud when compelled to, without any outbursts.

While the CNN town hall event received my support, I did have concerns about the audience makeup, as it created a misleading impression of how Americans perceived Trump's remarks.
