According to Chief Onovo, the agricultural sector presents a unique opportunity to engage and empower young people in Nigeria. With a high unemployment rate among the youth population, the agricultural sector can provide meaningful employment opportunities and improve the country's food security.

“Empowering young people in agriculture is not just about providing jobs, it's about creating a sustainable future for our country,” said Chief Onovo. “We need to invest in the next generation of farmers and provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.”

Chief Onovo also stressed the need for the government to create policies and programs that encourage young people to pursue careers in agriculture. This includes providing access to capital, training, and technology that can help young farmers start and grow their businesses.

“By investing in the youth, we are investing in the future of our country,” Chief Onovo added. “We need to create an enabling environment that allows young people to thrive in agriculture, so that they can contribute to the growth and development of our economy.”

The agricultural sector in Nigeria has enormous potential for growth and job creation, and Chief Onovo believes that the Tinubu administration has an opportunity to harness this potential. By prioritizing the empowerment of young people in agriculture, the government can not only address the issue of unemployment but also improve food security and promote sustainable development.

In conclusion, Chief Onovo Onyekachukwu David's call for the inclusion of youths in the agricultural sector is a timely reminder of the importance of investing in the future of Nigeria. As the Tinubu administration begins its tenure, it is hoped that the New Nigerian President will heed this call and prioritize policies that empower young people in agriculture….
