The University of Ibadan and several Australian universities have announced plans for an exchange program involving students and staff members.
The Nigerian High Commissioner in charge of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Papua New Guinea, Vanatu, and the Pacifics, Ambassador Anderson Madubike, shared this information during a visit to the University of Ibadan (UI).
During his visit, Ambassador Madubike expressed his desire to promote exchange programs between UI and Australian universities.
He mentioned that a special delegation from Australia would be visiting UI, University of Lagos (UNILAG), and University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in October 2023 to explore collaboration and partnership opportunities.
In response, Prof. Ezekiel Olusola Ayoola, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of UI, assured Ambassador Madubike of UI's commitment to collaboration with other universities.
He emphasized that the current university management is dedicated to building upon past achievements and laying a strong foundation for the future.
