Fox Nigeria earlier reported that University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially released Application form for 2023/2024 academic session.
The school has also announced the cut off mark for admission seekers into the school for the 2023/2024 academic session. Candidates who intend to apply for admission into UNIPORT should take note of the following information.
UNIPORT Post UTME cut off mark for 2023/2024
The current UTME cut off mark for UNIPORT is 150. This means that candidates who scored up to 150 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) are eligible to apply for admission into UNIPORT. However, meeting the cut-off point does not guarantee admission, as candidates are also expected to have at least 5 credits in their WASSCE or NECO result.
Departmental Cut Off Mark for UNIPORT
UNIPORT departmental cut off mark is also 150. Candidates are expected to score up to this mark in their UTME and also meet the departmental requirements. It is important to note that only candidates who put UNIPORT as their first choice are eligible to apply.
Supplementary Forms for Candidates
UNIPORT has supplementary forms for candidates who did not meet the minimum cut off point for their department. These candidates are also expected to have at least 5 Credits in their WASSCE or NECO result in addition to scoring at least 150 in the UTME.
