A lady named Anita Brown, based in the US, has come forward, accusing Davido of impregnating her and pressuring her to terminate the pregnancy. To support her claims, she has shared screenshots of alleged conversations with Davido.
Anita Brown has also clarified that she was unaware of Davido's marital status and claims she was instructed to lie about her social media account being hacked when she initially made the news public.
In a video she shared, Anita Brown took a pregnancy test that showed a positive result. She revealed that Davido's cousin, Clarks Adeleke, had been discussing with her about what to do regarding the pregnancy.
Anita Brown addressed the notion that Davido being married should absolve her of any responsibility, saying,
“What really bothers me is this married man narrative you all are pushing. Cut it out. I had no knowledge that he was married, I swear to God. Just look at his social media page, does he appear to be a married man? I'm confused. People knew about the baby, but nobody knew he got married. I'm currently in America, and nobody here knew, sorry. It's not all over the blogs; it's not a big deal. If a man isn't telling me, then how would I know? I wasn't actively seeking that information because I'm not looking to get married. That's not something I'm interested in right now. So, no, I didn't know. I actually found out afterward, and then I discovered that I'm pregnant. So, please, let's put an end to it. Maybe I'm guilty of fornication, but I'm never an adulterer. Just calm down.”
Davido is already married to Chioma Rowland, has fathered children with multiple women, and this recent allegation has added to the ongoing baby-mama dramas surrounding the singer.
